DS is committed to continuously meeting the changing needs of clients by fine-tuning and improving the delivery of services. DS services were created to be “user-friendly” in terms of geography, hours of operation, language and culturally accessibility.
As an active member of the community, DS encourages all member of the community to participate in its programs. We recognize that within the organization each person takes part in a social contract that assumes the fair, responsive, straightforward, and courteous communication and behavior that persons of good will and mutual trust may expect from one another. We will accomplish the above as we encourage our clients to become responsible citizens who will affect positive change in their own communities and work environments.
In order to achieve the DS Mission and implement its programs effectively, it is imperative that staff is treated with the same care, respect and inclusion as the clients. Each staff member has the responsibility and accountability to respond to clients needs.
The clients we serve determine what success is to them. We feel a sense of urgency on matters related to the clients we serve. We strive to be responsive. We are client driven.
