A family resource center is a warm and welcoming place in the community to which any family can come, not only in the time of need, but as a regular part of day-to-day life. Davis Street’s goal is to support the entire family unit. DSFRC provides an extended family to grow with and a community from which to draw strength. Everyone – from children to seniors – is given the resources they need to realize their own power and potential.
Moving out of poverty happens one day at a time. The safety net provided through the programs offered by our family resource center offers help with this transition to self-sufficiency. Our programs give families individualized and culturally appropriate help in critical areas. Medical assistance, counseling, support groups, wellness workshops, case management, parenting classes, workplace assistance, childcare, food, and clothing are examples of the comprehensive services that help our clients navigate on their journey of life.
For a schedule of our programs, please visit our Calendar. You can also call 510-347-4620 to inquire about our daily services.
