September 24, 2019; San Leandro, California: Davis Street’s Child Development Center at Roosevelt hosted the Oakland Raider’s Book Giveaway. Players Darren Waller, Kolton Miller, Daniel Carlson, A.J. Cole III, Marquel Lee, Alec Ingold, 2 Raiderettes, and mascot, Rusher Raider came out to the Roosevelt Center for the Raider’s Literacy Project to celebrate Raider Rusher’s 6th Birthday. 85 children from Davis Street’s Roosevelt Center received 3 brand new books of their choice, and the Raider’s donated the extra books to all of Davis Street’s Child Development Centers at a total of 400 new books.
The Oakland Raiders have supported Davis Street’s Child Development Centers for over 5 years. Davis Street would like to extend an enormous thank you to the Oakland Raiders for donating their time and hearts to the children and families of our centers.
