Quality Control Coordinator

Status:  PT up to 20 hours

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the QC Coordinator will provide compliance auditing and monitoring for all CDE contracts pursuant to Department of Education regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct ongoing audit of case files (new and recertifies) for CAPP, C2, C3, APP, CalWORKs, CSPP and CCTR contracts, and the CCAFP Food Program.
  • Review files for accuracy and contract compliance; identify, record and report audit findings to Controller and designated parties.
  • Make recommendations and assist with developing solutions to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Monitor current policies, procedures and CDE regulations to increase knowledge to carry out responsibilities. and
  • Assist with document preparation for agency and CDE audits.
  • Attend training and workshops related to job scope.
  • Attend department and program meetings as required
  • Submit monthly error rate reports and perform administrative tasks to support responsibilities
  • File and keep log of errors
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with APP, CalWORKs, and/or CSPP and CCTR preferred
  • Related experience auditing and monitoring records and case files
  • Strong computer skill using Word, Excel and Outlook required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to develop written correspondences, and interact with individuals at every level of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to details, and follow through on assignments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality in working with confidential information and records

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift and carry up to 20lbs short distances, lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary
