Job Description

Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Quality Coordinator performs a variety of confidential support, projects, and administrative duties related to clinical care, quality and clinic operations. Also act as the liaison on administrative matters including facilities, personnel, equipment, supplies, and information technology.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative support for Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer, including routine and confidential tasks, reports and communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, including calendar invites, in-person and virtual logistics, agendas, materials, taking minutes, and tracking to ensure timely follow-up of meeting action items
  • Coordinate and assist with provider credentialing and privileging tasks, including scheduling meetings, gathering and distributing materials, taking minutes, and ensuring the files are complete with all signatures.
  • Coordinate schedules, trainings and calendars for assigned
  • Prepare documents, reports and presentations
  • Project management of select grant deliverables, quality improvement initiatives, risk management activities, and operational optimization
  • Perform gathering and compile data for qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Perform workflow mapping and documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of data for internal and external reports as needed by leveraging EHR tools or liaising with EHR support resources
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits (i.e., HRSA, D.H.S./Managed Care, CHDP, Health Plans, CPSP, etc.) as necessary
  • Assist in maintaining clinic policy and procedures, and forms data base
  • Assist in preparation of monthly Clinic QI/QA meeting agenda and minutes
  • Assist in the completion of applications or submissions to external parties for, but not limited to Medi-Cal D.H.S., Covered CA, etc.
  • May participate with community outreach and health fairs
  • Assist with special projects and clinic initiatives as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • LVN with 2 years related experience (or Certified Medical Assistant with 3 years related experience)
  • Strong computer skills using Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
  • Experience utilizing and retrieving data from an Electronic Medical Record system
  • Strong analytical skills, and skills creating spreadsheets, charts and graphs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivation to take initiative to ensure all tasks performed are completed timely and accurately
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with accuracy

$24-$28 per hour
