Responsibilities
- Provides medical services to patients in a community clinic setting
- Diagnoses diseases, conditions and illnesses
- Reviews X-rays and laboratory findings
- Coordinate and implement treatment plans, and proscribe medication as necessary
- Provides leadership on prevention, diagnosis and treatments
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and charts
- Code EMR for all services provided
- Attends all Medical staff meetings and other meetings as required
- Remains current on the policies and procedures of the clinic and in the practice of medicine
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine
- Current California physician license, DEA certification and BLS certification
- Proficient using MS Office and EMR software
- Dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care to patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Desire to work with culturally diverse populations and varied socio-economic levels
