Since 1991, when Davis street was still housed in the San Leandro First Christian Church, Rose has dedicated her life to guiding families and individuals out of poverty, improving their quality of life. Growing from basic community support, Rose’s tireless efforts expanded services into a comprehensive safety net that helps clients navigate their path to financial, physical, and mental wellbeing. Recognized for her many contributions to the community, Rose Padilla Johnson is the recipient of the Community Impact Lab Award and was named the 2015 Woman of the Year in the 18^th Assembly District.
