James Dont’e Sanders, a cherished member of our Davis Street family, passed away on Diciembre 27, 2023. Born in Oakland, California, on Junio 15, 1997, James brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.

James joined our Independent Living Skills (ILS) program in 1996 and later participated in our Supported Employment program. He found joy in simple pleasures like going for walks, driving, playing basketball, and cheering for the Raiders.

With his infectious smile and unwavering positivity, James touched the lives of everyone he met. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, James. You will be deeply missed.
