POSITION SUMMARY The APP Outreach-Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the APP Director and performs outreach activities to promote APP and Child Care services. This position supports Davis Street’s mission by helping ensure effective program services for children and families. Full-time @ 37.5 Hours/week with excellent company paid benefits! Schedule: Lunes-Jueves, 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Viernes 9AM - 3PM.

Responsabilidades

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the APP Director, department staff, and program clients.
  • Prepare communications and conduct outreach and marketing activities to promote program services.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and create reports, graphs, spreadsheets, and tables.
  • Provide professional and responsive support to staff, clients, families, and external partners.
  • Assist with eligibility screenings, intake coordination, service integration, and special projects.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and distribute meeting materials.
  • Create spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, tracking tools, and data collection systems to monitor client services, demographics, and project progress.
  • Serve as a point of contact for local, state, and federal partners, and stakeholders as assigned.
  • Develop correspondence, presentations, program materials, procedures, and best-practice documents.
  • Manage the Director’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and department events.
  • Support events, trainings, conferences, program reviews, and audit preparation.
  • Assist with monthly department reports for Board and committee meetings.
  • Collaborate with front office intake staff and Family Specialists to maintain accurate program information.
  • Maintain department supplies and a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall program operations.

 

Requisitos

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or certificate in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two years of related administrative, outreach, or human services experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong administrative, project management, and basic mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Sheets.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of department, client, child, family, and employee information.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street.
