New Clinic Leadership – Please join us in welcoming a new dynamic duo to the Primary Care Clinic. Dr. Diana Mokaya, our new Medical Director, will join us in early Junio, and Shira Revzen, our new Clinic Director, started in early Mayo.

Dr. Mokaya comes to us from Santa Cruz County’s Health Services Agency, where she has served as the Clinical Services Medical Director since Octubre 2021. Before that, she worked at Ravenswood Family Health Center in East Palo Alto. Ravenswood is a federally-qualified health center, just like our clinic, so Dr. Mokaya is familiar with the opportunities and challenges of running one of these important avenues toward community health. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine, Dr. Mokaya is looking forward to becoming a part of the San Leandro community.

Ms. Revzen has worked for more than two decades in medical clinics around the United States. She comes to us from OLE Health in Napa, but before then she worked for Sonoma Valley Community Health Center, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England and Duke University. Shira holds a law degree from California Western School of Law, and she received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. Shira enjoys playing the ukulele, doing embroidery and sometimes completing New York Times crossword puzzles.
