POSITION SUMMARY Davis Street is seeking a Site Supervisor II to oversee staff and daily operations of a Child Development Center with two classrooms and multiple programs and services. This position is responsible for maintaining licensing compliance, supporting teaching staff, managing enrollment and food program requirements, and assisting the Children’s Services Manager/Director with projects as needed. Full-time @ 37.5 Hours/week with excellent company paid benefits!   • Implement and maintain State Licensing, Title 5, and/or Title 22 regulations for the center; participate in audits as needed.
  • Serve as the designated contact for announced and unannounced licensing visits and assist with corrective actions as necessary.
  • Hire, supervise, train, and monitor teaching staff to ensure quality teaching and appropriate child interactions.
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment Specialist to maintain adequate enrollment and support budget goals for the site.
  • Oversee CACFP compliance at the site level, including eligibility rosters, meal counts, menus, menu production records, food purchases, food service, and USDA requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, healthy, and safe center environment, including classrooms and play areas; submit and follow up on work orders as needed.
  • Participate in classrooms as needed to maintain required teacher-to-child ratios, including break and lunch coverage.
  • Plan and coordinate monthly staff meetings to support staff development and communication.

  • Manage and maintain the daily food program, including food supplies, kitchen/cooking facilities, cook supervision, child nutrition needs, and required recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

要求

QUALIFICATIONS

  • AA or BA degree, or equivalent ECE units, in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Site Supervisor Permit, or permit eligible, issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a child care setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising teachers or child care staff.
  • Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of Title 5 and/or Title 22 child care regulations.
  • Strong leadership, organization, flexibility, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and child care software applications.
  • Ability to respect confidentiality and work sensitively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must pass fingerprint clearances for all appropriate agencies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift children or heavy items up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to bend, stand, climb, walk, and perform physical activities as needed.
  • Ability to work safely in an environment that may include bodily fluids, waste, germs, childhood illnesses, and diseases.
