Davis Street would like to express endless gratitude to our comedy benefit’s generous sponsors and private donors. Special thanks to our premier sponsor, Dimond Internet Services and CEO Alberto Medina, for helping make our evening possible. Special thanks to Eden Township Healthcare District, Wells Fargo, Nancy and Michael Pretto, Galvan and Associates, Divine Home Care, Paramedics Plus, Bayfair Center, Blue Dish Zatar, and Larry and Deveney Totten.

Thank you to the local business who contributed generous in-kind donations to our efforts: Miraglia Catering, Paradiso Restaurant, J Lohr, Drakes Brewing, Precision Graphics, Awesome Printing, and Events by Renee Rivera.

Thank you to our team of over 50 volunteers from San Leandro High School Interact Club, Key Club, and Octagon Club and East Bay Rotaract Club. The local youth’s partnership in this event’s production is truly an honor for the agency. Also, thank you to Dan and Gina Dillman and Family for your kind support and beautiful theatre.

Big Raffle Winners Announced on Our Facebook Page! Congratulations D’Anne and Nilda!

Our 3rd annual “Stand Up for Davis Street” event raised tens of thousands of dollars for our family support services and was quite the success! Brian Copeland brought one of SNL’s most beloved alumni and Emmy-award winning comedian, Dana Carvey, as our surprise guest for the evening! Dana tweeted on his way to the theatre, “On route to a benefit gig for Davis Street with comedian @PittaTwitta. Gonna try and make history.” Brian Copeland, Joe Klocek, Johnny Steele, Laurie Kilmartin, Will Durst, Bob Sarlatte, Mark Pitta, and Tom Rhodes (another added guest from Comedy Central), delivered endless belly laughs from the crowd — a full house at the Historic Bal Theatre!

Mark your calendars for 2014’s “Stand Up for Davis Street” event on October 10th and look out for our Presale in the early summer of 2014!
