Housing Assistance Information
If you are homeless or a survivor of domestic violence, we will help you find emergency shelter.
About the Housing Assistance Information Program
With a community of over 400 million users (and a majority age group being 18 to 29), wouldn’t you want to make sure you’re monitoring what people are posting on social networks? Especially if the demographic of your audience falls in that age range.
We offer timely, accurate information, if you need:
- Emergency hotel shelter – If you are homeless or a survivor of domestic violence, we will help you find emergency shelter.
- Low-income housing – We’ll give you information on where to get low-income housing
- Application assistance for low-income housing – We’ll help you fill out an application.
- Rental assistance (for residents of San Leandro only) – If funds are available, we can help you pay the back rent you owe to help you not become homeless.
Who is eligible?
Anyone living in Alameda County can use our emergency and low-income housing assistance information service. It is absolutely free.
Call us at: (510) 347-4620, extension 163.
