About the Social Services Application Assistance Program
If you need assistance applying for social services, Davis Street can help. We know that application forms can be lengthy and complicated. We can also help you find out what social services you may be eligible to receive, and then guide you through filling out the right forms. Our application assistance is for anyone who is a client of Davis Street and is free of charge.
We can help you apply for any of the following programs:
Supplemental Food - to help nourish your family, such as:
CalFresh, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
Medi-Cal
No-cost or low-cost health insurance
Covered California
Low-cost health insurance
Social Security
Monthly income for older Americans, workers who become disabled, and families in which a spouse or parent dies
