Job Description

The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our company, providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and employees. The Medical Receptionist will handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our Primary Care Clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct high volumes of phone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Appointment scheduling and schedule maintenance.
  • Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Collect and process payments.
  • Provide medical records as needed.
  • Assist in training and onboarding of new staff.
  • Flexibility as hours, schedules and responsibilities may change based on departmental needs.
  • Availability for occasional paid trainings, meetings and events outside of typical working hours.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-year proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role
  • Experience as a call center representative or in a similar role helpful
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street
