Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Dental Director to provide care in the following disciplines of general dentistry: diagnosis, preventative, pediatric, removable, fixed, endodontic, and oral surgery.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and provide appropriate, comprehensive dental treatment to patients
- Demonstrate commitment to Davis Street’s mission statement
- Communicate with the staff on our team regarding patient’s treatment plans
- Thoroughly document all diagnoses and treatments rendered
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Attend meetings and trainings as requested
- Participate in the annual Health Fair during one Saturday in August
- Provide information and assistance to the Dental Director for the purpose of program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Work a flexible schedule as necessary for clinical operations
- Perform duties as necessary for clinical operations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited dental school
- Current license to practice dentistry in California
- Current DEA license
- 1 year related experience preferred
- Desire to work with culturally diverse populations and varied socio-economic levels
- Proficiency in using computers and EMR software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street
