Holiday Basket Registration
Holiday Basket Program Sign-ups are now OPEN, and CLOSE Wednesday, November 21st or until capacity is reached.
If you need assistance, please register with the Basic Needs program for the Holiday Basket at Davis Street from 10 am to 5 pm Mondays and Tuesdays or 10 am to 7 pm Wednesdays and Thursdays.
To qualify you must live in San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, Cherryland or Ashland.
You must be an active client BEFORE October 30, 2018, for guaranteed registration. Please Note: Active client means you are receiving Davis Street Services on a regular basis. Signing up ONLY for the holiday program every year does not qualify you. If you are not an active client you will be placed on a waitlist.
Please Bring The Following Items With You To Sign Up:
- Proof of Address: PG&E Bill, Water Bill, Cable Bill, or any other bill within the last 30 days.
Please note: IDs are not acceptable for proof of address
- Proof of Income: Check stub, Cash Aid print out, Unemployment, SSI statement, or any other source of income within the last 30 days.
- Proof of Household Members: IDs for All Adults in the household.
- Proof of Household Members for Minors: Birth Certificate, Medical Card or Immunization Records.
Distribution of the Holiday Basket will be on Friday, December 21st.

About the Holiday Basket Program
For 47 years, Davis Street, in collaboration with the Alameda County Fire Department, local schools, clubs, faith-based communities, and businesses, has provided food baskets complete with fresh poultry, canned goods and new toys to thousands of families needy families.
