Davis Street COVID-19 POLICY – Dental Clinic
Effective 8/5/21 Due to the recent surge in the Delta Variant of COVID-19, Davis Street Primary Care Clinic has enacted new protocols to keep our patients and staff safe.
Unvaccinated patients will be required to have a negative COVID-19 test result prior to receiving any dental treatment. The test will need to be completed within a week prior to the appointment date and proof of the test results will be requested at the time of treatment. No treatment can be completed unless the test results are negative.
For patients who start their 2 dose vaccination series, dental appointments can be made starting 10 days after the first dose.
Vaccinated patients will be required to show proof of vaccination on their first visit in the dental clinic.
Dental treatment is closely involved with the method of transmission for the COVID-19 virus and these steps will help reduce the risk of spreading infection in our community.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
